Kerry Voit, DDS, FACP - Licensed as a General Dentist

Clinical Director of Fixed Partial Prosthodontics

During Dr. Voit's three decades as a practicing Prosthodontist he has conducted numerous national and international lectures and presentations on Implants and Implant Related Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Voit received his dental degree from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and his advanced degree in Fixed Prosthodontics from the University of Illinois.

In addition to being a member of numerous dental organizations, Dr. Voit served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Naval Dental Corps, where he was the Director of Fixed Partial Prosthetics at Camp Pendleton Marine Base. During that period he was the treating Prosthodontist for President Richard M. Nixon. Upon return from his tour of active duty, Dr. Voit was appointed Assistant Professor, Clinical and Laboratory Director of Fixed Partial Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. He served on the College of Dentistry's Executive Committee and has acted as the Prosthodontic consultant for the Evanston Hospital Northwestern University General Residency Program. Dr. Voit has been practicing adult reconstructive, restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry in private practice since 1979.

Spiro C. Karras, DDS

Dr. Karras is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with more than 15 years of experience in dental implant and associated reconstructive surgery. He graduated from the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Karras then completed a four year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and at Boston University's Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry. His residency included extensive training in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery and anesthesia. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Karras entered a 12 month fellowship program in maxillofacial reconstructive surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, under the direction of one of the world's preeminent surgeons. During his fellowship, Dr. Karras had the opportunity to perform many complex reconstructive procedures and to be involved in clinical research. He has presented the results of this research at national meetings of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and has authored or co-authored several articles in scientific journals.

Dr. Karras has served as President of the Chicago Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and maintains active membership in the Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, as well as the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.

Dr. Karras' advanced training and extensive professional experience allow him to provide the highest level of surgical care for cases ranging from the most basic to the most complex. He has been engaged in the private practice of oral, maxillofacial, and dental implant surgery in the Chicago area since 1994.

Brian S. Shah DDS, MD

Dr. Shah has returned home to the midwest joining EON Clinics after training and practicing in New England. He is unique as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in that he has both medical and dental degrees. His extensive training truly puts patients in "skilled hands".

Dr. Shah is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed his surgical training at the Harvard Medical School affiliated hospitals in Boston, including Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital.

Prior to his surgical training Dr. Shah obtained his BA at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his dental degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

By being an active member in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental and Medical Associations Dr. Shah stays up to date with the rapidly changing and exciting worlds of dentistry and medicine.

Samantha W. Chou, DMD

Dr. Samantha Chou is American Board Eligible in the dental specialty of Prosthodontics and practices in Chicago, Illinois.

She graduated from the accelerated program at the acclaimed Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she obtained both her Bachelors in Biology and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 7 years. Upon her graduation from Nova's College of Dentistry, Dr. Chou completed a 3 year Advanced Prosthodontics program at University of Illinois in Chicago, during which time Dr. Chou received specialty training in restoring aesthetically challenging cases involving full mouth reconstructions of natural teeth and implant supported prosthetics utilizing the most current techniques and cutting edge industry innovations. Her clinical training and academic research focused on advances in bone grafting, sinus/ridge augmentations, and implant placements utilizing various CAD-CAM technologies. She has presented the results of her research at national meetings of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics.

Currently, Dr. Chou uses comprehensive treatment techniques and strategies supported by research evidence to address patients esthetic concerns, while improving their overall oral health. She maintains active memberships in the American college of Prosthodontists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Association.

Joseph A. Toljanic, DDS

Dr. Toljanic is the Chief of Dentistry at the University of Chicago Hospital and a Board Certified Prosthodontist with a D.D.S. from Loyola University School of Dentistry. He leads one of the most active clinical research programs for dental implants in the country. Willing to share his knowledge, he teaches the latest advances in techniques and procedures in implant dentistry to other dental professionals, so that they can also provide the best possible treatment for their patients.

A recognized leader in the profession, Dr. Toljanic is on the Board of Directors of a number of dental specialty organizations.
